Ronnie McMillan began his poker career in July 2002. He participated in $90 Limit Hold’em at the Crazy Eight 5 in Inglewood. McMillan claimed 6th place and took home $375.

Three years later, in July 2005, he entered $1,060 Championship No Limit Hold’em at the Orleans Open in Las Vegas. McMillan took 7th place, netting $7,095.

He achieved his best live cash in August 6th, 2007 by competing in $500 Omaha Hi/Lo at the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. McMillan finished 1st, bringing home $39,635 in prize money.
