Ron McMillan’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 1984 during the Grand Prix of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 4th place in a $1,000 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, cashing $9,240.

In April 1991, Ron played in a $2,500 Limit Hold’em during the 22nd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 4th place and earned $32,988.

At the Four Queens Poker Classic in Las Vegas in September 1995, he won a cash prize of $23,200. Ron participated in a $1,000 Razz and clinched victory.

Ron clinched another victory at the Carnivale of Poker II in Las Vegas in January 1999. He competed in a $1,000 + 60 7 Card Stud 8 or Better and won $23,200.
