Rolands Norietis: Poker Career

Rolands Norietis started playing poker tournaments in 2011. His first tournament was the €3,200 + 300 NLHE Main Event in Vienna. He finished 26th out of 555 entrants and won over $17,000. Rolands participated in the succeeding years with a fair performance. At the Riga Poker Dream, he managed to be runner-up against Sergey Rybachenko in his second tournament. In this tournament, he took home $11,000 amongst the 10 entries.

At the start of 2013, he won the €500 NLHE Freezeout in Paris for $11,320 after running over 40 entries. This win added an additional $11,320 to his Total Live Cash. The next year, he cashed in only one tournament. This was at the IPC Tour in Malta wherein he finished as a runner-up with over $11,000. 

2017 was a good year for Rolands, as he won two events at the World Poker Tour in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. In the first event, $200 + 20 NLHE #8, he won $,5,419 and another $11550 during the $300 + 30 Pot Limit Omaha.

This was followed by two consecutive wins in 2019 in different events. First, at the 220 + 30 NLE Turbo Survivor, he got $1,656 for first place. Then at the $150 NLHE, The Orleans 2019 Summer Poker Series in Las Vegas, for $8,364

After a long break without winning, he finally got another win in 2022. In the $150 NLHE in Dania Casino, with over 147 entrants and a prize of $8,494.

As he entered 2023, he participated in the World Poker Tour Prime in Cambodia. He won the last event he played at the $400 NLHE with $11,991. The two events he joined were also good for him, as he finished in third place for over $22,000 and $4,000, respectively.

Conclusion

Rolands is still active in tournaments. During the Poker Dream Manila 2023, he ranked fourth in the 184K + 16K NLHE-Single Day High Roller. He gained $16,267 in winnings. As of today, his Total Live Earnings are $192,710 with the Best Live Cash of $22,600.
