Roger Hairabedian, popularly known as “Big Roger,” is a French professional poker player and former martial arts practitioner. Born on September 19th, 1955, in Marseille, France, he has total live tournament earnings exceeding $5.3 million, with his largest single cash prize amounting to $653,163. Notably, he has secured two WSOP bracelets: the first during the WSOP in Cannes, France, in September 2012, and the second at the WSOP in Enghien-les-Bains, France, in October 2013.

Roger Hairabedian was born on September 19th, 1955, in Marseille, France. During his school years, he focused on mastering judo. After years of training, he began competing for France and, in 1981, reached a significant milestone by becoming the European champion. Unfortunately, a knee injury ended his judo career. Following this setback, he transitioned to poker in 1985 at the age of 30, Roger started by playing in local poker rooms and home games.

Roger Hairabedian began his poker career in March 1999. He participated in a €2,500 Pot Limit 7 Card Stud event at the Spring Tournament in Paris. Hairabedian finished in 5th place and earned $594.
