Roberto Romanello is a Welsh professional poker player from Gorseinon. He has accumulated earnings exceeding $4.9M from live tournaments, with his highest live cash totaling $846,180. Roberto Romanello: Live Tournament Participation
Romanello’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 2006 where he placed 8th in a €300 + 25 No Limit Hold’em at The Welsh Open in Swansea. He cashed $858.
In December 2010, he participated in a €5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the European Poker Tour in Prague. Romanello finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $846,180.
Moreover, in March 2011, he participated in the €2,500 + $220 No Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Tour in Bratislava. Emerging victorious, he claimed a substantial cash prize of $197,861.
Later in September of that year, he continued his success at the European Poker Tour in Barcelona, finishing 1st in a €5,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em 6 Max Turbo and adding $158,834 to his winnings.
In addition to his poker career, he participated in the Partypoker Caribbean Poker Party in Nassau in November 2018. He entered a $10,000 + $300 No Limit Hold’em, where he clinched victory and won $450,000.
Romanello on Online Tournament
In May 2020, he participated in a $10,300 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller Event #4 at the Super High Roller Bowl Online. Romanello placed 8th and earned $33,920.
Romanello finished 4th place at the Poker Masters Online PLO Series in June 2020. He joined in a $10,000 + 300 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller Event #7 and earned $45,000.
Shortly after, on July 26th, 2020, he marked his first WSOP bracelet at the WSOP Online by GGPoker. Romanello took part in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Event 39 and earned a prize of $216,213.
Additionally, he participated at the WPT Montreal Online in January 2021. He joined in a $5,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em High Roller Turbo, where he emerged victorious and earned $84,758.
