Robert Hwang is an American professional poker player from Barnegat, New Jersey, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $299,730 came when he finished in 5th place at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in September 2005.

Robert Hwang’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 2003 during the ATLARGE Festival in Atlantic City. He finished in 8th place in a $100 + 20 Mixed Games, cashing $97.

Then, on September 14, 2005, Robert clinched victory at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City. He won $129,600 in a $1,500 + 100 No Limit Hold’em event.

Just a few days later, on September 19, 2005, Robert played in the $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Championship from the same series. He finished in 5th place, securing his best live cash of $299,730.

In the following years, Robert finished in 1st place at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in June 2008. He won $106,198 in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em.

Two years later, in June 2010, he continued his triumph, winning $112,746 in a $1,000 + $70 No Limit Hold’em event at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza III.

Moreover, in June, Robert was eliminated in 2nd place at the Event #48 of the 43rd WSOP, the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Event, pocketing $102,118.

In March 2017, Robert competed in a $350 + 50 No Limit Hold’em during the Saturday Series $100k in Atlantic City. He ended up in 32nd place, earning $782.
