Robert Cheung is a Canadian professional poker player and businessman from Vancouver, BC, with over $1.6 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $673,628 came when he won at the 38th WSOP in June 2007. During his poker career, he clinched three rings at the WSOP Circuit events.

Robert Cheung: Live Tournament Participation

Robert Cheung’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 2005 at the British Columbia Poker Championships. He finished in 44th place in a C$2,500 + 125 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, cashing $2,937.

In April 2006, Robert entered in Event #25 at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He made 1st place finish, winning $46,655.

Later that year, in June, Robert played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the WSOPC Lake Tahoe. He ended up in 4th place, pocketing $82,720.

A year later, in June 2007, he participated in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 38th WSOP in Las Vegas. Robert finished in 1st place, winning his best live cash of $673,628 to date.

Following this, in March 2008, he joined in a $2,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em at the Wynn Classic in Las Vegas. Robert made 1st place finish, winning $94,573.

Then, in June 2008, Robert took part in a $2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em at the 39th WSOP. He ended up in 6th place, pocketing $50,100.

In July 2024, Robert competed in a $800 No Limit Hold’em – Independence Day Celebration Bracelet Event #80 at the 55th WSOP. He ended up in 856th place, earning $1,600.
