Richard Kirsch is an American professional poker player from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He boasts total live earnings exceeding $3 million with his best live cash amounting to $345,743. 

Richard Kirsch: Live Tournament Participation

Richard Kirsch first appeared in a recorded live tournament at the UltimateBet Poker Classic in Palm Beach, in September 2004. Kirsch cashed $7,000 in the $6,000 + $200 No Limit Hold’em event.

During the 36th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in July 2005, Richard earned $124,835. He participated in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em World Championship Event.

Richard secured 4th place and earned $172,912 at the Mirage Poker Showdown in Las Vegas in May 2007. He competed in a $9,700 + $300 No Limit Hold’em Championships.

In September 2015, at the  Aria High Roller 14 in Las Vegas, Richard earned $229,840 with a 2nd place finish in a $24,000 + $1,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event.

Kirsch joined the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2017. He earned $271,736, placing 6th in a $10,000 + $400 No Limit Hold’em WPT Main Event.

In February 2018, Kirsch placed 2nd in a $10,000 + $500 Pot Limit Omaha event in the U.S. Poker Open in Las Vegas. He cashed for $128,000.

In August 2018, Richard achieved his highest single live cash of $345,743, finishing 4th in a €10,300 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event. He entered the European Poker Tour stop in Barcelona. 

At The Wynn Summer Classic in Las Vegas, in June 2023, Richard secured $232,558, placing 2nd in a $970 + $130 No Limit Hold’em event.

His most recent appearance in June 2024 saw Richard cashing for $12,240 in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 55th World Series of Poker held in Las Vegas.
