Richard Austin

Richard Austin is an American professional poker player from Jeffersonville, Indiana, who currently resides in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. With total live earnings of $1,054,968, his best live cash of $409,484 came in June 2009 when he won 1st place and a WSOP bracelet at the 40th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Richard Austin recorded his first live cash in March 2005, finishing 5th in the $250 NLH event at Harrah’s Atlantic City Weekend Tournament. He earned $2,275 for his efforts.

In March 2007, Austin then participated in the $560 NLH event at the WSOPC in Atlantic City. He placed 2nd, winning $40,894.

In the same month of 2007, he also competed in the $5,150 NLH Championship Event at the WSOPC Atlantic City. Austin then finished 6th and earned $76,380.
