Reza Payvar’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 1998 during the Carnivale of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 8th place in a $5,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event, cashing $15,300.
On October 27th, 2004, Reza played in a $2,000 + 80 Phil Hellmuth Invitational – No Limit Hold’em during the National Championship of Poker in Inglewood. He finished in 2nd place and cashed $47,740.
