Raymond Davis is an American professional poker player, social media influencer, and owner of Realgrinders from Bellflower, California, with over $1.6 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $177,600 came when he finished in 10th place at the 39th WSOP in June 2008.

Raymond Davis’ Allegations in Child Sex Crime Case

Poker pro Raymond Davis faced nine charges stemming from accusations of sex crimes against children in November 2019. He allegedly paid an underage girl, whom he met on social media. Reports say that he took the minor into his house for sexual activity. Davis returned to court to defend himself, but during the court proceedings, things went from bad to worse. His new bail was set from $25K to $500K.

After spending nearly a year in jail, Raymond has been released, but he might still face 1 to 6 years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the felony. He could also get up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine for the misdemeanor.

Raymond Davis: Live Tournament Participation

Raymond Davis’ first recorded live cash occurred in February 2002 at the L.A Poker Classic. He finished in 8th place in a $500 + 40 Pot Limit Omaha, cashing $1,925.

In August 2004, Raymond played in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em during the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. He finished in 1st place and won $92,625.

During the California State Poker Championship in September 2006, he finished in 2nd place. Raymond took part in a $291 + 31 No Limit Hold’em and earned $93,815.

At the Fifth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in April 2007, he earned a cash prize of $92,820. Raymond entered in a $25,000 + 500 – WPT No Limit Hold’em Championship and secured 22nd place.

Later in December of that year, he participated in a $15,000 + 400 Doyle Brunson Classic – No Limit Hold’em at the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic im Las Vegas. Raymond finished in 7th place and took home $173,445.

In June 2008, Raymond entered in a $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. at the 39th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 10th place and secured his biggest live cash of $177,600.

Most recently, in September 2018, he competed in a $350 No Limit Hold’em – Championship during the Westside Poker Championship in Inglewood. Raymond placed 16th and cashed $755.
