Ray Qartomy: Live Tournament Participation

Ray Qartomy first appeared in a recorded live tournament at the Heavenly Hold’em event in Los Angeles in May 2005. He competed in a $485 + $55 No Limit Hold’em tournament. He cashed for $1,510.

In June 2005, Ray entered the Mini Series of Poker in Los Angeles. He finished 1st place in a $300 + $40 No Limit Hold’em event, earning a grand prize of$26,325.

During the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2011, Ray finished 2nd in a $5,000 + $180 No Limit Hold’em event. He took home a cash prize amounting to $133,230.

Continuing his success, Ray achieved his highest single cash in August 2013. He engaged in a $5,300 Championship Event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood and secured 4th place. He won a whopping $639,925.

Ray participated in the WPT World Championship/Borgata Spring Poker Open in Atlantic City in April 2015. He placed 5th in a $15,000 + $400 No Limit Hold’em event and cashed for $208,647.

December 2020 brought Ray another victory at the Wynn High Rollers in Las Vegas. He won in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event with $150,000 addition to his earnings.  

In August 2022, he continued his successful streak at the WPT Legends of Poker in Los Angeles, finishing 2nd in a $5,250 No Limit Hold’em event. He pocketed an impressive $380,000.

His most recent participation was in May 2024 at the WPT Choctaw Championship in Durant. Ray cashed for $11,200 in a $3,500 + $300 No Limit Hold’em event.
