Randy Gil is an American professional poker player from Morgan Hill, California, with over $860.4K in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $80,000 came when he finished in 12th place at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in February 2006. During his poker career, he won at the WSOPC Thunder Valley in September 2019.
Randy Gil’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2004 during the Legends of Poker in Bell Gardens. He finished in 3rd place in a $500 + 40 Pot Limit Hold’em, cashing $11,065.
In February 2006, Randy played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose. He placed 12th and secured his biggest live cash of $80,000.
Following this, he joined in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship Event at the 37th WSOP in July 2006. Randy placed 159th and cashed $47,006.
Later in September of that year, he participated in a $ 5,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event at the WSOPC in Lake Tahoe. He finished in 4th place and earned $48,396.
Fast forward to September 2019. At the WSOPC in Thunder Valley, he won $8,762. In this event, Randy engaged in a $400 No Limit Hold’em Ring Event #3 and finished in 1st place.
Continuing his career, in July 2022, Randy entered in a $460 No Limit Hold’em – Monolith Event #8 at the AUPT World Championships. He also finished in 1st place and bagged $42,415.
At the WSOPC in Lincoln in January 2024, he finished in 5th place, cashing $53,800.
In a recent appearance on October 18th, 2024, Randy competed in a $2,200 No Limit Hold’em Event #6 at the PokerAtlas Tour – Bay 101 Open in San Jose. He ended up in 15th place, earning $10,700.
