Rami Boukai began his career as an MMA fighter, competing from 2002 to 2004. During this time, he achieved a modest record of 2 wins and 2 losses, notably fighting future UFC star Urijah Faber at King of the Ring 41. This match marked the end of his official MMA career. Following his departure from MMA, Rami quickly transitioned to poker in 2005, where he began posting impressive scores.

His poker journey took off, and he gained recognition in the online poker community under the alias “Arbianight.” Over the years, Rami built a successful poker career, earning over $1.5 million in live tournament winnings. His best live cash came in January 2015, when he finished 6th at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, taking home $285,740.

Rami’s accomplishments in poker continued to grow, and he earned two WSOP bracelets. The first was achieved at the 40th WSOP in June 2009, followed by his second bracelet at the 50th WSOP in June 2019.

Rami Boukai’s first live cash occurred in March 2004, he entered the $100 + $20 No Limit Hold’em tournament, “Winnin’ o’ the Green,” in Los Angeles, finishing 24th and cashing $845.

Then, in April 2008, he participated in the €10,000 + €600 No Limit Hold’em event at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, where he placed 25th and earned $66,617.

Subsequently, in June 2009, Boukai won the $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha/Hold’em tournament at the 40th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, taking home $244,862 for 1st place.

Years after, in January 2015, he finished 6th in the $9,700 + $600 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in Paradise Island, earning $285,740.

Furthermore, in June 2015, he placed 3rd in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better event at the 46th WSOP, cashing $123,976.

He then achieved another victory by winning the $1,500 8 Game Mix – 6-Handed tournament at the 50th WSOP in June 2019, securing $177,294 for 1st place.

In July 2024, Boukai entered the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 55th WSOP in Las Vegas, finishing 1158th and cashing $17,500.
