Raj Patel is an American professional poker player from Los Angeles, California, with over $1.8 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $1,298,405 came when he secured his first WPT Title at the Foxwoods Poker Classic in March 2007.

Raj Patel’s first live cash occurred in July 2004, he entered a $100 + $20 Limit Hold’em event at the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles, securing 1st place and taking home $24,840.

Two years later, in August 2006, Patel participated in the $4,850 + $150 Championship Event No Limit Hold’em at the Empire State Poker Series in Verona, where he achieved a 6th-place finish and collected $24,343.

Subsequently, his most significant triumph occurred in March 2007 at the Foxwoods Poker Classic, where he competed in a $9,700 + $300 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event. Patel claimed the title, earning a remarkable $1,298,405.

In June 2007, he entered the $2,800 + $200 No Limit Hold’em event at the Mega Stack Challenge II in Mashantucket, where he took 2nd place and walked away with $73,757.

The following year, in April 2008, Patel competed in the $9,700 + $300 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the Foxwoods Poker Classic 2008, finishing in 11th place and receiving $33,915.

Later, in September 2008, he joined the $2,500 + $150 No Limit Hold’em event at the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City, where he placed 7th and took home $30,700.

In July, 2024, Patel participated in the $200 No Limit Hold’em – Sunday Special with a $100 add-on at the Orleans Summer Poker Open in Las Vegas. He ranked 43rd and earned $832.
