Quan Zhou’s first recorded live tournament cash was on June 2nd, 2011, in Macau. He participated in the HK$11,000 No Limit Hold’em Red Dragon Event at the Macau Poker Cup – May Special, finishing 34th out of 447 participants earning HK$22,400, which is $2,878.
The following year, on July 28, 2012, in Macau, he took part in the HK$3,000 + 300 Pot Limit Omaha event at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Macau. Quan Zhou performed well, securing his place at the final table and finishing 8th, with earnings of $1,263.
