Phuoc Nguyen is an American professional poker player from San Jose, California, with over $2.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $335,914 came when he won at the Legends of Poker in August 2017.

Phuoc Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in December 1996 during the Ocean’s 11 Christmas Festival. He finished in 1st place in a No Limit Hold’em event, winning $4,000.

Fast forward to August 2017. At the Legends of Poker, he won his biggest live cash of $335,914. In this event, Phuoc engaged in a $160 No Limit Hold’em – Mega Millions Series XVII #16 and finished in 1st place.

Later in September 2017, Phuoc entered in a $565 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the Gardens Poker Classic. He finished in 3rd place and pocketed $79,000.

In October 2021, Phuoc played in a $400 No Limit Hold’em COLOSSUS Event #55 the 52nd WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 4th place and earned $112,730.

Then, in May 2022, he clinched victory at the California State Poker Championship. He won a prize of $128,995 in a $980 + 120 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event #11.

Phuoc was eliminated in 4th place at the 55th WSOP in July 2024. As a result, he earned a prize of $127,950 in a $600 No Limit Hold’em – Ultra Stack Bracelet Event #84.

In September 2024, Phuoc competed in a $330 + 70 No Limit Hold’em – Monster Stack Ring Event #4 at the WSOPC Northern California. He ended up in 57th place, earning $805.
