Phillip Luong’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 1998 at the Winnin’ o’ the Green in Los Angeles. He finished in 4th place in a $200 + 20 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Split, cashing $1,390.

Later in July of that year, he participated in a $100 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Split during the Summer Challenge in Compton. Phillip clinched victory and won $14,280.

In February 1999, Phillip played in a $2,000 + 60 LAPC No Limit Hold’em Championship at the LA Poker Classic VIII. He clinched another victory and won his biggest live cash of $97,600.

His winning streak continued in August 1999 at the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. Phillip took part in a $200 + 25 Limit Hold’em and $28,125 added to his earnings.

During the California State Poker Championship in June 2002, he finished in 1st place. Phillip joined in a $300 + 30 7 Card Stud and won $38,370.

On August 22nd, 2005, he entered in a $1,000 + 70 No Limit Hold’em at the Legends of Poker. He finished in 2nd place and earned $47,310.

Most recently, in August 2022, he competed in a €550 No Limit Hold’em – ESPT Cup Event #18 at the European Poker Tour in Barcelona. Phillip placed 218th and cashed $1,337.
