Peter Costa recorded his first live cash in February 1994. He won the £50 Seven Card Stud tournament at the Grosvenor Spring Classic in London. He finished in 1st place and received a prize of $7,581.

Moving forward to January 2003, Costa achieved a significant milestone by winning the $10,000 Main Event No Limit Hold’em at the Crown Australasian Poker Championships in Melbourne. He secured 1st place and earned $221,862.

In June 2002, Costa continued his impressive run. On June 7, he won the $300 + $30 Limit Hold’em event at the California State Poker Championship in Los Angeles, finishing in 1st place with a prize of $115,662.

Shortly after, on June 20, he claimed victory in the $2,500 Limit Hold’em tournament at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, taking 1st place and receiving $112,000.

His success extended to June 25, when he won the $3,100 Limit Hold’em event at the Bellagio High Buy-in Tournament Series in Las Vegas, again finishing in 1st place and earning $112,000.

Furthermore, in September 2002, Costa won the $5,000 Championship Event No Limit Hold’em at the Hall of Fame Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and received $101,520.

Most recently, in January 2024, Costa participated in the $600 No Limit Hold’em tournament at The Wynn Signature Series in Las Vegas. He finished in 34th place and earned $1,403.
