Peter Lawson is an American professional poker player from Sandy, Utah, with over $735.5K in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $272,665 came when he finished in 3rd place during the Legends of Poker in August 2004. During his poker career, he won two rings at the WSOPC Biloxi in September 2014 and WSOPC Choctaw in January 2017.

Peter Lawson: Live Tournament Participation

Peter Lawson’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2004 during the Legends of Poker. He finished in 3rd place in a $5,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em Championship Final Day, securing his best live cash of $272,665.

In July 2006, Peter played in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em during the Bellagio Weekly Tournaments. He finished in 2nd place and earned $32,865.

Following this, he joined in a $2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em at the 38th WSOP in June 2007. He finished in 4th place and took home $72,497.

Fast forward to September 2014. At the WSOPC in Biloxi, he won $13,284. In this event, Peter engaged in a $365 No Limti Hold’em Event #9 and finished in 1st place.

Later in October of that year, he participated in a $360 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Wynn Fall Classic. Peter clinched victory and bagged $40,259.

At the WSOPC in Choctaw in January 2017, he won a prize of $20,089. Peter entered in a $365 No Limit Hold’em Event #9 and secured 1st place.

In June 2022, Peter competed in a $200 No Limit Hold’em Event #74 at Grand Poker Series at the Golden Nugget. He ended up in 5th place, 1,221.
