Peter Hassett is an American poker player from Riverside, Illinois, with over $118k in live tournament earnings. His biggest live cash of $91,917 came in June 2006, when he finished in 5th place at the 37th WSOP. In March 2024, he made a milestone in his career by winning his first ring at the WSOPC Chicago.

Peter Hassett’s first recorded live cash occurred in September 2005 at the Ultimate Poker Classic in Palm Beach. He finished in 66th place in a $5,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em – Championship, cashing $6,000.

In the following year, Peter was eliminated in 5th place at the 37th WSOP in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em Short Handed. The payout of $91,917 marked the biggest live cash of his career.

Then, in January 2007, Peter earned a prize of $2,125 at the L.A. Poker Classic. He finished in 27th place in the $500 + $40 No Limit Hold’em.

In October 2013, he entered in a $365 Limit Omaha 8 or Better Event #9 at the WSOPC Hammond. Peter finished in 5th place, pocketing $3,894.

Fast-forward to March 2024, and he made his mark by securing his first ring at the WSOPC Chicago. Peter won $12,867 in Ring Event #6, the $400 Limit Omaha 8 or Better.

Later that year, in April, Peter was eliminated in 10th place at the same series. He took home $1,052 in Ring Event #9, the $330 + $70 Pot Limit Omaha.

In November 2024, Peter participated in a $400 Pot Limit Omaha – Ring Event #8 at the WSOPC Chicago. He ended up in 16th place, earning $845.
