Peter Evans is a British professional poker player from England who has made a name for himself in the poker community. He initially gained recognition when he finished as the runner-up in the first series of Late Night Poker. Following this breakthrough, he continued to develop his skills and reputation as a poker player. Over the years, he accumulated more than $457,000 in live tournament earnings, with his best cash of $99,920 coming from a second-place finish at the Euro Finals of Poker in December 2006.

In addition to his poker career, Peter is a retired scrap metal dealer. He regularly participates in both small and large poker events, mainly in various venues across the UK, but he also occasionally plays in the United States.

Peter Evans recorded his first live cash in April 1997, he played in a £100 No Limit Hold’em event at the Great Britain Poker Championships in Birmingham, finishing 4th and earning $2,109.

Moving forward, in February 2005, he participated in the Midlands Medley in Walsall, entering a £500 + £25 No Limit Hold’em tournament where he placed 2nd and earned $39,778.

In September 2006, Evans achieved 1st place in a £500 No Limit Hold’em event at the Heart of England Autumn Festival in Birmingham, taking home $28,955.

Later that year, in December 2006, he finished 2nd in the €3,000 EFOP Diamond Championship Event – No Limit Hold’em at the Euro Finals of Poker 10th Edition in Paris, earning an impressive $99,920.

Subsequently, in February 2007, he entered the £1,000 + £50 GPT Leg 2 – No Limit Hold’em at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour in Walsall, where he placed 6th and cashed $35,030.

After a few years, he returned to the game in March 2014, finishing 2nd in the Monthly £500 Deepstack in Nottingham, a £500 + £50 No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament, earning $32,586.

Most recently, in May 2017, he played in the Saturday Special in Liverpool, a £75 + £5 No Limit Hold’em event, where he finished 4th and took home $927.
