Paul Sherr recorded his first live cash in January 1991, he finished 4th in the $500 + 30 Limit Hold’em event at Amarillo Slim’s Superbowl of Poker in Laughlin, earning $4,713.

Subsequently, in September 1996, he secured 1st place in the $1,055 Omaha Hi/Lo event at the Four Queens Poker Classic in Las Vegas, earning $24,800.

The following year, in January 1997, Sherr came in 2nd place in the $1,000 + 55 Omaha Hi/Lo event at the Four Queens Poker Classic, with a prize of $17,800.

Moving forward to May 1999, Sherr placed 3rd in the $2,500 Omaha 8 or Better event at the 30th World Series of Poker, receiving $46,500.
