Paul Rowe’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 1983 during the Plaza Poker Tournament in Las Vegas. He finished in 9th place in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $2,950.

In December 1988, Paul played in a $5,000 + 75 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the Hall of Fame Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He finished in 5th place and earned $24,250.

A decade later, in May 1998, he entered a $3,000 Omaha 8 or Better at the 29th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place cashing for $133,200.
