He has amassed over $7.8 million in live earnings, with his largest single cash of $6,102,499 coming from the 37th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Wasicka has also won a WSOP Circuit ring at the WSOP Circuit event in Robinsonville, Tunica.

Paul Wasicka: Early Life

Born in Dallas, Texas, on February 17, 1981, Paul Wasicka was a sports enthusiast during high school. He participated in track and field, cross country, skiing, wrestling, and volleyball. His initial encounter with gambling occurred at a blackjack table in Vancouver, which was intended to be a skiing trip. 

Following this, he accompanied a friend to an underground poker tournament in Denver, where he was introduced to both the basics of poker and online poker.

Wasicka first appeared in a recorded live tournament in September 2004. He finished 11th in a $300 + $30 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the Fall Poker Classic in Shakopee, earning $875.
