Paul Deng’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2005 at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 2nd place in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, securing his biggest live cahs of $324,305.

Then, in May 2006, Paul placed 7th at Mandalay Bay Poker Championship. He pocketed $6,815 in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em event.

Later in October 2006, Paul clinched victory in the $1,000 + 80 Nightly No Limit Hold’em at Festa Al Lago V, winning a prize of $28,355.

On June 5, 2007, Paul entered a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 38th WSOP. He finished in 26th place, pocketing $16,212.
