Padraig Parkinson, born on June 25, 1957, is an Irish professional poker player from Dublin with over $1.9 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $489,125 came when he finished in 3rd place at the 30th WSOP in May 1999. Parkinson also became an ambassador for partypoker in 2017.

Padraig Parkinson’s first recorded live cash occurred in February 1994 during the Grosvenor Spring Classic in London. He finished in 3rd place in a £200 Omaha, cashing $2,562.

In May 1999, Padraig played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 30th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 3rd place and secured his biggest live cash of $489,125.

Following this, in July 2006, he entered in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 37th WSOP. Padraig finished in 3rd place and earned a substantial cash prize of $203,139.

Later in September of that year, he participated in a $2,500 + 150 No Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City. Padraig finished in 4th place and took home $55,475.

At the UK & Ireland Poker Tour in Galway in December 2009, he won a cash prize of $152,376. Padraig participated in a €2,000 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event and clinched victory.

In October 2013, Padraig entered in a €5,000 Pot Limit Omaha – Triple Chance at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris. He clinched another victory and $105,297 added to his winnings.

Most recently, in May 2024, he competed in a €315 + 35 Pot Limit Omaha – High Roller 7 Max at the Irish Poker Tour – The Monster in Dublin. Padraig placed 3rd and cashed $2,532.
