Orlando Maldonado’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 1997 during the Shootout At Sea in Fort Lauderdale. He finished in 2nd place in a $500 Limit Hold’em, cashing $10,000.

On December 1, 2005, Orlando entered a $2,500 + 100 No Limit Hold’em event at the Fourth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic. He finished in 1st place, winning his biggest live cash of $234,095.

Just a few days later, on December 6, 2005, Orlando competed in another $2,500 + 100 No Limit Hold’em event from the same series, finishing in 3rd place and earning a prize of $67,090.

Then, in February 2006, Orlando placed 42nd at the L.A Poker Classic. He pocketed $19,930 in a $9,600 + 400 No Limit Hold’em Championship.

Later that year, in April, Orlando took home $18,780 at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic. He finished in 3rd place in the $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em – Evening.

Fast forward to November 2021. At the WPT Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open, he cashed $17,595. In this event, Orlando engaged in a $600 No Limit Hold’em Deepstack Event #10 and finished in 6th place.

In a recent appearance on November 24, 2024, Orlando competed in a $1,100 No Limit Hold’em – Triple Stack Event #15 at the Seminole Hard Rock Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open. He ended up in 51st place, earning $1,940.
