Norm Ketchum Jr. recorded his first live cash in January 1988. He participated in a $300 Limit A-5 Draw during the Super Stars of Poker in Tahoe. He finished in 5th place and cashed $1,386.

In March 2000, Norm played in a $500 + 40 Limit Hold’em at the First Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He placed 2nd and earned $37,597.

Luck favored him as he won his biggest live cash of $84,500 at the 35th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in May 2004. Norm took part in a $1,500 Limit Ace to Five Draw and finished in 1st place.

During the WSOPC in Tunica in January 2006, he achieved 2nd place. He took part in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em and earned $62,500.

A month later, in February 2006, he joined $300 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the WSOPC in San Diego. Norm finished in first place and won $39,722.

Continuing his winning streak, Norm participated at the WSOPC in Las Vegas in May 2006. He competed in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em, winning $67,541 and securing his 2nd ring.

Most recently, in June 2024, he competed in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Super Seniors Bracelet Event #59 at the 55th WSOP. He placed 77th and took home $4,753.
