Nenad Medic: Early Life

Nenad Medic was born on December 21st, 1982, in Apatin, Serbia. When he was five, his family moved to Niagara Falls, Canada, to join relatives, and he later became a Canadian citizen. Growing up, Nenad looked up to his older brothers and took up basketball. He dreams of becoming a professional player, inspired by the New Orleans Hornets.

While playing college basketball at the University of Waterloo, Nenad’s teammates introduced him to poker. This new interest shifted his focus, as he found that the competitive spirit he had developed in basketball translated well to the poker table, leading him to explore a career in poker.
