She is also a well-known actress and singer. One of her well-known films about gambling was titled “My Wife Is a Gambling Maestro.” She was born on June 13, 1983, in Datong, Shanxi, China. She is also known by the name Meng Yao, and she married Zhou Lei, a professor, in 2008. Dustin Zhou is the name of their only child.

Natalie Yao Meng: Poker Career

Natalie Yao Meng is not as well-known as other poker players, but her excellent results can be seen in her tournaments. She first competed in a live tournament in August 2014, at the Macau Poker Cup.

Yao also made the final table of the Asia Championship of Poker in Macau in April 2016. She finished seventh and took home $5,556.

The following January, she competed in the Asia Championship of Poker, Platinum Series XVI, in Macau, where she finished fourth and took home more than $13,000 in prize money. Yuanhang Zhong, another Chinese player, won first place and took home $40,611.

In 2018, she won her first tournament at the  Wynn Fall Classic in Las Vegas. She came in first and won $5,000.

At the time of writing, she is not yet actively participating in any tournaments and her most recent appearance was last year. She participated in the  Wynn Signature Series, in Las Vegas in August 2022 and won 2nd place in the said event. She won $18,610.
