Long’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 2012. He finished 1st in a $200 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Hoops and Hold’em – Spring Poker Madness. He won $4,905.

In September 2021, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – Poker Masters #1 at the PokerGO Tour in Las Vegas. Halverson placed 11th and earned $24,600.

Subsequently, in November of that year, he attained his biggest live cash of $380,050 at the 52nd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, securing 15th place in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event.

He emerged victorious by securing 1st place on July 29th, 2021 at the World Series of Poker – (US ONLY), Online. He played in a $600 No Limit Hold’em 6 Max, earning $253,819.

Following that, he joined WSOP Circuit Online in January 2022. He took part in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max – Super High Roller Event #9 and placed 2nd. Halverson took home $38,106.
