Minh Van Nguyen

Minh Van Nguyen, a Vietnamese American professional poker player and two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, resides in Bell Gardens, California. He has amassed total live earnings of $2.3 million, with his best live cash in June 2005 at the 36th World Series of Poker. He placed 2nd and earned $329,975.

Minh Van Nguyen: Live Tournament Participation

Minh Van Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 1993 at the Queens Poker Classic III in Las Vegas. He finished in 2nd place in a $530 Omaha Hi/Lo event, earning $16,900.

In April 2003, at the 34th Annual WSOP event, he won his first bracelet. By finishing in 1st place in a $1,500 Pot Limit Hold’em event, he earned $155,420.

In April 2004, he won another WSOP bracelet in a $1,500 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the 35th WSOP  in Las Vegas. There, he secured 1st place and earned $155,420.

In June 2005, he participated in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 36th WSOP in Las Vegas. Nguyen placed 2nd and took home his best live cash of $329,975. 

In  November of that same year, Nguyen competed in a $10,200 WPT – No Limit Hold’em World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He placed 8th and cashed $172,800.

In a recent appearance, Nguyen competed in a $130 No Limit Hold’em event during the Palm Beach Kennel Club Recurring Tournaments in West Palm Beach. He ended up in 8th place, earning $465.
