Mike Sica, known as “Little Man,” was an American professional poker player and former teacher from North Brunswick, New Jersey. A World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner, he had total live earnings of $1.2 million. His best live cash was $503,160, which he won in May 2004 when he finished 1st at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. Sica passed away in 2013 at the age of 69.
Mike Sica recorded his first live cash in May 2004, placing 10th in the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em event at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. He earned $5,200 for his finish.
Later that same month, Sica achieved his best live cash and won his first WSOP gold bracelet by claiming 1st place in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. This remarkable victory earned him $503,160.
In August 2005, he competed in the $2,080 NLH event at the WSOP Circuit in Tunica, Robinsonville. He finished 3rd and earned $39,770.
The following year, in May 2006, Sica placed 3rd in the $2,080 NLH event at the Mandalay Bay Poker Championship in Las Vegas. He earned $31,795.
In July 2008, he competed in the $2,500 NLH event at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in Las Vegas. He secured 6th place and won $33,350.
In November 2010, Sica participated in the $5,250 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City. He finished 4th and earned $39,576.
In his last participation, in April 2013, Sica competed in the $365 NLH event at the WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Chester. He finished 9th, earning $3,700.
