Mike Heintschel’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 1998 during the Carnivale of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 8th place in a $5,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event, cashing $15,300.
In June 2001, Mike played in a $1,500 + 70 No Limit Hold’em during the California State Poker Championship. He finished in 2nd place and earned $40,185.
Later in September of that year, he participated in a $200 + 25 Limit Hold’em during the Labor Day Tournament in Oceanside. Mike clinched victory and won $20,000.
