Michael Rocco is a famous American poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada. He focused on middle limit cash games. Rocco used to work as a blackjack dealer at the Dunes Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
Michael Rocco started playing in live tournament poker in 2010 at the 41st World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas. Among 408 entrants, he finished in 23rd place for over $4,000 Richard Ashby was the eventual winner.
At the 2011 Legends of Poker in Los Angeles, he won his first tournament for $10,860 the tournament had over 323 entries.
It was then back to back wins for Michael. First was at the 2012 The Wynn Fall Classic with $10,103. Then followed at the 2013 L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles and took home $9,000. His next win was when he participated at the $500 +60 NLHE in Borgata for $113,050.
In addition to his winnings, Michael joined the WSOP Circuit in Nevada, Las Vegas. At the $365 NLHE Turbo #11, he took home the first prize with $10,079. Another win for this year was at the 2014 wynn Casino Recurring Tournaments, $200 + 25 NLHE for $9,000.
It was a long break from his winning but after five years he was able to add in his records of winnings. During the $570 No Limit – SInge Draw – Event #29, he bagged the first place and took home $7,400 over 40 entries. This is followed by another win in a different tournament. At the Monster Jam Poker Tour – Super Slam (Event#4), Michael ranked first from 10 entrants for $40,707. He concluded his 2019 with an additional win from The Wynn Winter Classic at the $5,000 + 300 NLHE – Championship Event for $540,800.
For 2020, he managed to get another win to end the year. In the $510 + 90 NLHE – Double Stack – Event #29, Michael won the $2,775 over 1,032 entries. In the 2022 $10,000 + 200 NLHE – PGT Stairway, he bagged another $87,250.
Michael continues to play in tournaments and strive for more wins. His latest poker activities shows that he is doing well in the poker scene. He was last seen participating in the PokerGo tour in Las Vegas and made an impression as he got in the top performing players of the season.
