Michael McClain was an American poker player from Davis, California, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $470,400 came when he finished in 9th place at the 35th WSOP in May 2004.

Michael McClain’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 1990 at the Winnin’ o’ The Green in Bell Gardens. He finished in 6th place in a $300 + 30 Seven Card Stud, cashing $1,760.

Fast forward to May 2004. He entered in the $10,000 World Championship at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. He ended up in 9th place, securing his best live cash of $470,400.

In February 2006, Michael played in a $9,600 + 400 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the L.A Poker Classic. He finished 9th, pocketing $99,648.

Later that year, in August, Michael joined in a $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship at the Legends of Poker in Bell Gardens. He finished in 11th place, claiming $48,800.

Following this, in August 2007, he participated in a $9,500 + 200 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the Legends of Poker. He ended up in 5th place, taking home $182,900.

Then, in November 2008, he took part in a $5,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the WSOP Circuit in Lake Tahoe. He made 4th place finish, securing $53,777.

His last recorded appearance was on March 11, 2020. He competed in a $4,900 + 300 No Limit Hold’em at the Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose. Michael ended up in 16th place, earning $17,595.
