Michael Dobbs’ first recorded live cash occurred in September 2005 at the WPT Borgata Poker Open. He finished in 11th place in a $1,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $5,083.

Fast forward to September 2015. At the WPT Borgata Poker Open, he earned a prize of $71,715. In this event, Michael engaged in a $350 + 50 No Limit Hold’em Almighty Million Event #10 and finished in 3rd place.

Then, in December 2016, Michael clinched victory at Mega Stack Challenge in Mashantucket. He won $97,845 in a $530 + 70 No Limit Hold’em Event.

In March 2017, Michael entered in Event #11, the $350 + 50 No Limit Hold’em at the Foxwoods Poker Classic in Mashantucket. He finished in 1st place and won $64,468.

Later that year, in December, he finished in 2nd place at the MegaStack Challenge. Michael earned $72,047 in the $530 + 70 No Limit Hold’em Event #1.

In July 2022, Michael was eliminated in 2nd place at the 53rd WSOP in Event #80, a $600 Mixed Game 8-Handed event. The payout of $98,026 marked the biggest live cash of his career.

In September 2024, Michael competed in a $500 No Limit Hold’em at Live! MegaStacks in Philadelphia. He ended up in 63rd place, earning $905.
