Michael Banducci

Michael Banducci is an American professional poker player from Traverse City, Michigan. A graduate of Hope College in Michigan, Banducci ranks 13th on the Michigan All-Time Money List with over $1.6 million in total live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $636,736 came in June 2008, when he secured first place at the 39th WSOP in Las Vegas, earning him a WSOP bracelet.

Michael Banducci recorded his first live cash in January 2006, placing 26th in the WPT Main Event – No Limit Hold’em at the PCA in Paradise Island. He earned $7,800 for his finish. Later that month, he improved his standing, finishing 26th in the same event for $16,900.

In June 2007, Banducci competed in the $2,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 38th WSOP in Las Vegas. He secured 5th place, earning $105,884. This marked his first significant WSOP cash.

In June 2008, Banducci claimed his first WSOP bracelet and recorded his best live cash by winning the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 39th WSOP in Las Vegas. He earned $636,736 for his 1st-place finish, solidifying his status in the poker world.

In July 2016, Banducci participated in the $10,000 NLH Event Championship at the 47th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished 69th and earned $96,787.

In June 2023, Banducci returned to the WSOP and achieved notable finishes in two events. He placed 4th in the $5,000 NLH/PLO event at the 54th WSOP in Las Vegas, earning $169,674. Shortly after, he competed in the $500 No Limit Hold’em – Bankroll Builder (NV/NJ Only) event during the WSOP Online (US Only) series, finishing 4th and adding $47,977 to his earnings.

In his most recent participation, in June 2024, Banducci played in the $1,000 NLH Freezeout event. During the WSOP Online Bracelet Events (MI/NJ/NV), he finished 24th, earning $3,782.
