Matthew Milliken’s first live cash was recorded in July 2005 at the 36th WSOP in Las Vegas. He participated in $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, placing 14th and earned his best live cash to date of $35,345.

In February 2006, he finished 5th in $540 No Limit Hold’em Shootout at the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles, cashing $8,150.
