Matthew Cohen’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2006 during the Borgata Summer Open in Atlantic City. He finished in 3rd place in a $2,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $37,000.

Year later, in July 2007, he played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 38th WSOP. He placed 233rd and cashed $45,422.

Later in September of that year, he participated in a $1,500 + 100 No Limit Hold’em during the WPT Borgata Poker Open. Matthew placed 2nd and earned $99,540.

Following this, Matthew returned to the WPT Borgata Poker Open to join in a $1,500 + 100 No Limit Hold’em in January 2008. He also placed 2nd and took home $112,065.

In July 2011, he entered in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 42nd WSOP. He finished in 340th place and cashed $35,492.

Fast forward to July 2019. At the Borgata Summer Poker Open, Matthew secured his biggest live cash of $208,744. He engaged in a $2,500 + 200 No Limit Hold’em – Summer Poker Championship Event #16 and placed 2nd.

In May 2023, Matthew competed in a $150 No Limit Hold’em – Friday Night at the Orleans Hotel & Casino Recurring Tournaments. He ended up in 14th place, earning $578.
