Matthew Cohen’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2006 during the Borgata Summer Open in Atlantic City. He finished in 3rd place in a $2,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $37,000.
Year later, in July 2007, he played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 38th WSOP. He placed 233rd and cashed $45,422.
