Matt Keikoan is an American professional poker player from Richmond, California, with over $2 million in live tournament earnings. His most notable achievement includes winning $550,529 in his victory during the 39th WSOP in June 2008. He has since claimed two WSOP bracelets, with his second win coming at the 41st WSOP in June 2010. Matt also clinched his ring at the WSOPC Lake Tahoe in November 2009.

Matt Keikoan: Live Tournament Participation

Matt Keikoan’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 2002 during the Battle of the Bay in San Francisco. He finished in 7th place in a $100 + 20 Partners Bounty Hold’em, cashing $550.

In June 2008, Matt played in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em at the 39th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $550,529.

Following this, in August 2008, Matt entered in a $9,500 + 500 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event during the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. He finished in 7th place and earned $140,830.

At the WSOP Circuit in Lake Tahoe in November 2009, he won a cash prize of $106,435. Matt participated in a $5,150 No Limit Hold’em and clinched victory.

Continuing his career, he competed in a $9,600 + 400 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose in March 2010. Matt reached the final table by placing 5th and took home $175,700.

Later in June of that year, he participated in a $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championships at the 41st WSOP. Matt clinched victory and won a substantial prize of $425,969.

Most recently, in June 2022, he competed in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors Event #47 at the 53rd WSOP. Matt placed 652nd and cashed $2,164.
