Markus Golser is an Austrian professional poker player from Salzburg, with over $1 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $222,431 came when he finished in 5th place at the European Poker Tour in December 2007. He was also sponsored by the now-defunct Full Tilt Poker and was the CEO of Card Coaches.

Markus Golser’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 1996 at the German Poker Convention in Salzburg. He finished in 2nd place in a ATS1,500 + 250 Limit Hold’em, cashing $2,525.

In May 2000, Markus entered in a $2,500 + 80 Pot Limit Omaha at the 31st WSOP in Las Vegas. He ended up in 3rd place, taking home $48,750.

Continuing his career, in July 2006, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em World Championship at the 37th WSOP. He made 239th place finish, claiming $42,882.

Following this, in December 2007, Markus took part in a €4,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the EPT in Prague. He finished in 5th place, securing his best live cash of $222,431.
