Mark Burford’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2006 at the Gold Strike World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 3rd place in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $16,092.

In July 2010, Mark entered in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 41st WSOP in Las Vegas. He ended up in 344th place, pocketing $36,463.
