Mario’s first live tournament cash was on March 15th, 2015, at the €200 No-Limit Hold’em Accumulator during the 2015 WPT National in Vienna. With a buy-in of $218, he secured 6th place and walked away with $600.

Two years later, on October 23rd, 2017, he participated in the €1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack with a guaranteed prizepool of €500K during the 2017 World Series of Poker Europe. Mario finished in 86th place earning $931.

Mario continued his tournament journey in 2023, joining the Triton Series. His first appearance was at Triton’s Vietnam festival on March 1st in the 25k NLH GG Super Millions, securing 10th place and cashing $81,000. On March 2nd, he joined the 15k NLH 8-Handed, but he did not win any cash prizes.

On March 4th, Mario competed in the 30k NLH 8-Handed, finishing in 11th place and earning $100,000. The following day, March 5th, saw him in the $50,000 NLH 8-Handed, securing 14th place and earning $111,200. Unfortunately, on March 8th, he did not secure a cash prize in the $100,000 NLH Main Event.

However, on May 12th, in the $30k Mystery Bounty NLH, he secured 23rd place, earning $27,000. On May 13th, he did not cash in the $40k NLH 8-Handed event.

Later, in Monte Carlo on October 24th, Mario participated in the $200k NLH Invitational, securing an impressive 2nd place and earning a significant amount of $2,690,000. In subsequent events on October 26, 27, 28, and 29, namely the $125k NLH Main Event, $25k NLH Turbo, $100k NLH 8-Handed, and $30k NLH 7-Handed, respectively, he did not cash.

On October 30th, Mario emerged victorious in the $40k NLH Mystery Bounty, claiming 1st place and winning one of his biggest cash prizes of $1,438,000. His last appearance in a live tournament was on November 1st in the $25k NLH GGMillion$ Live, securing 22nd place and cashing $50,600.
