Marco Palacios’ poker live tournament career began in November 2004. He participated in $220 No Limit Hold’em at the Holiday Bonus Tournament in Los Angeles. Palacios finished in 14th place and pocketed $745.

Two years later, in December 2006, Palacios entered $15,400 WPT Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic No Limit Hold’em in Las Vegas He took 60th place, netting $25,370.
