Mads Andersen is a Danish professional poker player from Copenhagen, Denmark, with over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $413,442 came when he finished in 1st place at the EPT Copenhagen in January 2006.
Mads Andersen’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 2000 at the 31st World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 5th place in a $3,000 + 80 Pot Limit Hold’em, cashing $27,000.
In January 2005, Mads played in a $1,000 + 60 Pot Limit Omaha at the The Sixth Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 1st place and won $128,379.
At the European Poker Tour in Copenhagen in January 2006, he won his biggest live cash of $413,442. Mads participated in a DKr30,000 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event and clinched another victory.

In July 2009, Mads played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 40th WSOP. He secured 242nd place and took home $32,963.
Moreover, in July 2019, Mads finished in 201st place at the 43rd WSOP. He joined in a $10,000 World Championship – No Limit Hold’em Event #61 and claimed a prize of $44,655.
Most recently, in April 2019, he competed in a $110 + 30 No Limit Hold’em – Nightly Event at the Aria Resort & Casino Recurring Tournaments. Mads placed 2nd and cashed $1,705.
