Luke Schwartz, a British poker player, was born in London, United Kingdom on February 15, 1984. He began grinding in 2005, but he repeatedly went bankrupt before taking home the Sunday Million on PokerStars in 2007. Schwartz returned to the cash tables following his victory. 

In the £1,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Grosvenor World Masters in 2005, Schwartz placed eighth and earned £3,900 as his first live cash.

In 2009, he finished third and earned $ 40,000 at the PartyPoker World Open V in London. This was one of his best cashes. He earned an additional $150,000 by finishing fourth at the Full Tilt Poker Million VIII, Sky Sports, that same year.
