Louis Russo is an American professional poker player, attorney, and trader from Brooklyn, New York, with over $516k in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $209,521 came when he finished 7th at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in September 2006.
Louis Russo’s first recorded live cash occurred in September 2004 at the United States Poker Championship. He finished in 16th place in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $3,477.
Then, in July 2006, Louis placed 612th at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. He pocketed $20,617 in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship.
Later that year, in September, Louis was eliminated in 7th place at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in a $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Championship. The payout of $209,521 marked the biggest live cash of his career.

In July 2024, Louis competed in Event #84, the $600 No Limit Hold’em – Ultra Stack Bracelet at the 55th WSOP. He ended up in 285th place, earning $1,201.
