Wenguo’s poker journey started on July 17th, 2023, when he joined the KRW 3,400,000 No Limit Hold’em WPT Korea Main Event (Event #3) at the World Poker Tour – WPT Korea in Jeju. He managed to secure 48th place and walked away with $7,271 in winnings.

Continuing his streak, on July 22nd, 2023, he took part in the high-stakes KRW 8,500,000 No Limit Hold’em Single Day High Roller (Event #13) at the same venue. This time, he finished an impressive 3rd place and pocketed $37,309.

In the following year, Wenguo kept his momentum going. On February 27th, 2024, he entered the KRW 1,500,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Ace Poker League – APL Seoul in Seoul. Despite stiff competition, Wenguo clinched 9th place and earned $19,159.

In Jeju 2024, on March 6th, he participated in the $20k NLH 8-Handed event but did not cash.
